This course consists of a combination of economics, accounting, law and enterprise studies (involves planning, producing and marketing your own product). Students will be doing a Level 1 Business Studies achievement standard in Term 3 (6 credits) which involves having a market day and preparing and reviewing their business activity in their business groups. It is part of an integrated programme which is further developed in Economics, Accounting and Business Studies at Years 11, 12 and 13. Students may pick up Business Studies for the first time at this year level, as there is no prerequisite for entry.
