Basic music theory is also covered but not formally assessed.
The solo performance standard is optional.

Recommended Prior LearningSatisfactory achievement in Year 10 Music.
Basic skills on an instrument (or voice) as well as an interest in performing music in a group, composing original music/songs and using music technology to sequence and record music.
Exclusions: Students in this course cannot take 11MST.
