Students will have the opportunity to further their own interests in English. This could be through studying a body of work from a single author, looking at texts from a particular time period, or exploring another literary aspect in more depth. You will learn how to approach all aspects of a research project from thesis generation, to presenting a final product.
This course builds on the learning Years 9 & 10.
This is a half year course and counts as one of your two English course selections.
There are a range of opportunities for students to demonstrate their understanding in this course. Only one Level 2 English standard will be undertaken by each student.
