Teacher in Charge: Mr R. Eyre
This invitation-only course develops the fundamental concepts of Science. Students will experience a wide variety of learning opportunities involving scientific knowledge and application, thinking skills, literacy and numeracy skills, research techniques, experimental design, problem solving and practical skills. They will cover aspects of Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and earn credits towards their Level One certificate. This will enable them to study further Level One Science concepts in Year 11, building a much broader scientific understanding, and prepare students for advanced study in Years 12 and 13.

Recommended Prior LearningEntry to this course is by recommendation from the Academic Dean, based on results from Year 9.
