Students will experience a range of Maori and Pacific art practices throughout the year. They will learn to use a research based approach to their creative work. This will be based on a selection of NZ Maori and Polynesian traditional art forms and contemporary artists. The work produced will be in a project format. Students will explore a range of techniques such as Lino / block printing, Pattern design, Painting, 3D sculpture, and Mixed media.
