Who would be interested in this course?Students who enjoyed Enterprise Studies in Year 10 Commerce or any student who wants to learn about New Zealand/Maori/Local businesses with a keen interest in how they operate. Creative students and problem solvers who like to approach tasks in multiple ways.
This course will help students gain an understanding of how New Zealand Businesses operate as well as exploring Local and Maori owned/operated Businesses. Some key topics include - Entrepreneurship, Marketing/Advertising, Human Resources/Communication, Stakeholders and Sources of Finance.
This is a half year course and counts as one option course selection.

Assessment Information
Students will be assessed during their learning experiences, by various methods including, but not limited to, Group Presentations, Research Assignments, and Projects.
