Who would be interested in this course?Students who have completed 10ELS in 2023 and are capable of achieving Literacy 1.
New year 11 students with similar skills
11EAP caters for the needs of English Language Learners (ELLs) who have the potential to achieve Level 1 Literacy and provides them with the opportunities to gain relevant reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. It is intended that students in 11EAPF will continue into 12EAP and then 13EAP to gain the English Language requirement for entry to university.
Typically students will have an ELLP total of 10 or more.
This is a full year course.

Assessment Information
Students' writing, reading and speaking skills will be assessed diagnostically in order to gauge progress throughout the year.
An internal English Language standard in Listening or Reading, Level 3 EL, 5 credits will be offered
Level 2 EAP - English for Academic Purposes
The pathway 11EAPF, 2EAP, 3EAP will provide students with the credits required for Level 1 Literacy ( 1EAP) and University Entrance Literacy ( 3EAP).
