3MPJ Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mr G. McLarin.
Who would be interested in this course?Students whop have previously demonstrated some achievement in 2MST or 2MPJ or equivalent skills and knowledge.
Sufficient skills on an instrument to contribute to a group.
Basic music theory knowledge is recommended.
This course is for students who are interested in furthering their skills in:
- Rehearsing and performing music in a group
- Composing music and/or song writing
- Using music technology

Songwriting and Group Composition/performance
Term 2
Group performance and Solo Performance
Term 3
Solo Performance and composition portfolio
Assessment Information
Up to 20 credits will be selected from the above standards. Solo performance is optional, however encouraged as part of students instrumental development.
