3ELS Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mr C. Bangs.
Who would be interested in this course?Students who require further basic academic language development and wish to attempt the UE Literacy standards.
This course must be selected if a student is currently in 2EFS/ELS or 2EAP and the 2EFS or 2EAP teachers have recommended 13ELS. This course provides support for the learning in 3EAP. It develops students' academic vocabulary, higher order thinking and analysis, formal writing and reading and helps students who still need to improve their basic grasp of grammar.

Diagnostic and formative assessment of reading, writing, speaking and listening will be used to determine progress and readiness to sit the standards in the co-requisite course3EAP
