Who would be interested in this course?Students with an interest in an element of this course - health, wellbeing, customer service, beauty, makeup, hair.
Students will work on a variety of practical and theoretical areas. The units include; customer service, communication, beauty product design and prototyping, makeup design and application and hair styling.
Students will participate in workshops held by outside practitioners with a focus on hair and makeup.
Future career pathways - Nursing (which can lead to cosmetic nursing), pharmacy assistant, health worker, care provider, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, beautician, beauty therapist, hairdressing, makeup artistry, retail etc.

Learning Focus: Customer service skills, communication, natural beauty products
Term 2
Learning Focus: Prototyping natural beauty products
Term 3
Learning Focus: Makeup and hair design
Term 4
Learning Focus: Makeup and hair design
Each assessment has a theory (written/typed) and practical component.
Not all practical assessments qualify for a resubmission.
