2MST Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mr G. McLarin.
Who would be interested in this course?Students who have previously demonstrated Achievement in at least three standards in 1MST or 1MPJ or equivalent skills.
Good understanding of music theory.
Skills on an instrument.
This course is for students who are interested in furthering their skills in:
- Instrumental performance
- playing music in a group
- composing music
- using music technology
- music theory

Group and Solo Performance
Term 3
Composition and Solo Performace as well as Harmony Exam preparation
Assessment Information
Up to 20 Credits may selected from the above standards. The Music Notation application standard is optional, however may be assessed alongside the composition standard should students need it.

Contributions and Equipment/StationeryStudents must own or hire an instrument for home practice as well as participate in regular tuition on their instrument (school based or private).
