Who would be interested in this course?Students who have previously experienced Achievement of at least two externals from Level 1 Mathematics - with Externals (1MAX). Or with HOD approval
This Mathematics Course is for students who have succeeded in Level 1 Mathematics - with Externals (1MAX). There are two externally assessed standards in this course; Algebra and Calculus. Leads on to Level 3 Calculus (3MAC) or Level 3 Statistics (3MAS). Students develop skills in solving problems with an analytical focus and presenting logical arguments. This course may be taken in conjunction with Level 2 Statistics (2MAS).
