Recommended Prior LearningAny course in Year 10 Technology is of benefit.
This course develops students knowledge of design principles and how to apply those to their own designs. Course delivery encourages students to think creatively and critically through the design process to produce meaningful, quality textile garments. Key skills covered are: Pattern construction, textile knowledge, fashion illustration, garment construction techniques and applied design. This course reinforces student's literacy and numeracy skills.

Contributions and Equipment/StationeryBasic fabrics and haberdashery are provided. Students that wish to use specialist fabrics are required to purchase their own.
Assessment Information Students are assessed through a portfolio of work and their constructed garment.
