Course Description

This course is for students who are interested in furthering their skills in:
- Instrumental performance
- playing music in a group
- composing music
- using music technology
- music theory

Composition and Solo Performace as well as Harmony Exam preparation
Who would be interested in this course?
Students who have previously demonstrated Achievement in at least three LC Assessments in 11AMSF or 11AMPF or equivalent skills.
Good understanding of music theory.
Skills on an instrument.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Students must own or hire an instrument for home practice as well as participate in regular tuition on their instrument (school based or private).

Up to 20 Credits may selected from the above standards. The Music Notation application standard is optional, however may be assessed alongside the composition standard should students need it.Credit Information
