Course Description

This course is designed to give students intermediate practical engineering skills. Students will have the opportunity to construct an outcome in this course. Units cover machining, fabrication, welding and assembly.
This course links to the manufacturing and technology, and construction and infrastructure sectors pathway. These pathways encompass careers in steel fabrication, welding, apprenticeship, engineering, construction, fitter and turner, machinist, roofer, steel worker, building, aluminium fabrication, fencing, and many more. Students build the foundation skills needed for all trade career paths.
