Level 3 English - Critical Reading
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms J. Moss.
The course has an academic focus and will suit students with confident reading skills. The course will appeal to students who wish to undertake learning activities similiar to the style of tertiary study -- including the research process, reading (and selecting appropriate) academic papers, and the constructing sophisticated arguments.
Additionally, students will engage with a wide variety of authors not only to explore the representation of ideas, but also to further develop a sophisticated understanding of how to craft texts.
