Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr C. Bangs
Students will develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills at the pre-advanced level. They will also focus on learning and using academic vocabulary and associated grammar and language structures, and on developing academic writing.
Entry into the 2EAP course is by recommendation from the 1EAP teacher Ms Maihi or the HOD ESOL Mr Bangs.
Recommended Prior Learning
For students from language backgrounds other than English. A pre-entry test will be given to determine the language level. Level 1 Literacy. This course is the first year of a two-year course: 12EAP in 2022 and 13EAP in 2023.

Pathway
The 2EAP course is part of a two-year pathway 2EAP and 3EAP, in which students prepare for Level 2 literacy standards required for university entrance.
