Level 2 Mathematics - General
Teacher in Charge: Mrs E. Dantra
Level 2 Mathematics - General is a general Mathematics course that includes units of work from within the Number, Algebra, Measurement, Geometry, Statistics, and Probability strands using written methods of study.
This mostly internal course is designed for students who are interested in continuing their study in Mathematics and Statistics, however, it does not lead to Calculus (3MAC) at Level 3, due to the omission of the two Level 2 externals of Algebra and Calculus. There is one external; Probability Methods in order to make course endorsement possible.
Successful completion leads to Level 3 Mathematics (3MAT) in the following year. Entry into Level 3 Statistics (3MAS) will require a discussion with the Head of Faculty.
