Course Description

LEARNING ACTIVITIES: Students enrolled in this course are required to complete tasks and present an organised portfolio with evidence of tasks and Key Competency development. The students have the option of working through the course book and attaining credits. Students are given the choice of selecting their own tasks.
Students gain improved social confidence, motivation and self-esteem in setting targets and achieving them. The SPEC courses target Key Competencies necessary for the workforce, i.e. Managing self, thinking, relating to others, using language symbols and texts, participating and contributing.
