Year 11 English - Word Revolution

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms J. Moss.

In Year 10 students dipped their toes into Spoken Word and this course is intended to explore this form in more detail. Students will look at storytelling in NZ and abroad. A central part of this course is crafting, sharing and performing oral stories.

This course will appeal to students who are singers and/or songwriters. Or students who are interested in poetry. It will also suit students who  have strong personal views on contemporary topics. There will be a focus on self-expression -both in expressing the inner world and your place in the world.

This is a half year course and counts as one of your two English course selections.
