Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs L. Norman

This music course is for students who have significant skills on and instrument (including voice), usually two or more years of experience.

Students who select this course may need to present a short audition if the HOD music is not familiar with their skill level.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Rehearsing and performing music in small groups
  • General music theory
  • Music technology
  • Creating original music

Recommended Prior Learning

Most students in this course will have had lessons on their instrument for two or more years. It is highly recommended that students have access to an instrument at home for regular practice. Students in this class can rent an instrument from Lynfield College free of charge.
